Covenant Groups
We believe it is not enough to be a “member” of a church. God is asking more of us “for the living of these days.” To this end, we are seeking to recover our Wesleyan heritage of “class meetings” or “covenant groups” which meet regularly in small numbers to give account of “how it is with our souls.” As Sunday School classes are usually curriculum-based, so covenant groups are opportunities to “watch over one another in love.” Their focus isn’t church membership but discipleship, “learning Christ” (Eph. 3:20). More information is available by calling the church office and speaking with Karastin Hancock.
